Backup Functions
The CannaScale app has multiple backup functions available.
- Local File - File-based backups store an exact copy of the harvest data either locally or to the cloud.
- Cloud Sync - stores each plant weight in a combined harvest. This is currently not accessible to users, however, we can pull it for you from the servers if needed. User access is coming soon.
There is an automatic local file saved after each plant scan. The user can, at any point, trigger a cloud save of the same file. It also automatically syncs plant weight after every plant scan, but because it requires an internet connection, it may fail. If it fails, it queues the weight (s) to be sent on the next sync. Background sync happens every 10 seconds after a failure. The user can also re-queue all plants to sync weights at any point.
